MEN ' S DAY COUNCIL Seated: R. GranofT, D. Dickerson, E. Fell. Standing: F. Wright, R. Scullin. Good fellowship is the motto of the men who head the Men ' s Dormitory Council. With headquarters located in Wayne Hall, the men work with other campus government organizations to promote many functions, including the Bloodmobile, Charities Campaign, and other campus interests. Its counterpart for day student men is the Men ' s Day Student Council, which serves to voice the opinion of the Seated: W. Zimmerman, A. Neiman, C. Wilman. Standing: F. Groff, J. Oliver, W. Buechle. vast group who are not campus residents. The Day Room in Anderson Hall is the college location of this organiza- tion, and one of the council ' s chief responsibilities is the maintenance of cleanliness and order in this room. Here provisions have been made for ping-pong enthusiasts and informal conversational groups. With a radio, magazine racks, tables, and locker space, the room proves homelike and comfortable for the men day students. MEN ' S DORMITORY COUNCIL 21

Winfield, The Women ' s Day Student Council strives to guide and influence the lives of the commuting students and to promote friendly relations between the dormitory and day students. The Women ' s Dormitory Council is an organization which aids in bringing complete cooperation and under- standing to the resident women students. Each week the councilors meet with the women dor- mitory students and inform them concerning college policies, council regulations, and future social events. Lobby sings, .the placing of magazines and news- papers in the social rooms, Christmas parties in the halls, and movies on campus were the activities sponsored this year. First Rotv: A. Hunsberg, R.
