PRESIDEIVT President Charles S. Swope The President ' s Home, TANGLEWOOD Dr. Charles S. Swope has served as president of the college for eighteen years. During this time he has come to be re- spected by students and faculty alike for his character and leadership. A graduate of West Chester Normal School in 1921, President Swope continued his education, receiving degress from Dickinson and the University of Pennsylvania, hie served as supervisor of grade work and as head of the History Department at the Pennington School for Boys. In addition to his work in education, he is a noted lecturer. At West Chester he has been particularly interested in improving the physical plant and in maintaining the enrollment.
