DEDICATION i S A PLEDGE of our continued loyalty to the West Chester , yj State Teachers College, and oi our sincere purpose to up ' hold its tine :deals and traditions, we dedicate this, our Class Annual, to its President Dr. Norman W. Cameron, on whom rests the responsibility of maintaining the college in the front rank of the teacher training institutions of the land. In both scholarship and experience. Dr. Cameron is the worthy successor of the able men who have presided over this institution. He earned the degrees of A.B. and A.M. at Washington College, Maryland, and the degree of Ph.D. at the University of Penn ' sylvania. Few other schoolmen have had such a varied and valuable professional experience as he has been privileged to have. This ranges from teacher in rural schools to college president. It is chiefly, however, in connection with teacher-training institu ' tions and supervisory work that he has become best known and his success in these fields made him the outstanding choice when a new head of the college was to be elected. During the last twenty years he has been in no other kind of professional work, and during that period has held the tollowing positions: Head of Department of Psychology, West Chester State Normal School. Head of Department of Education and Psychology, Western State Normal School, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Director of Training of Teachers, Baltimore, and Principal o( the Baltimore Normal Schools. Superintendent of Schools of Potts- town, Pennsylvania and of Chester, Pennsylvania. Instructor in Summer School at Pennsylvania State College. President of West Chester State Teachers College, West Chester, Pennsylvania. By this dedication we convey to President Norman W. Cameron our message of respect, esteem, and gratitude for the opportunities which we have enjoyed. It is our guarantee of ful cooperation with him in his work ot carrying on worthily. It is our expression of hope that his administration may be long and peaceful, and that It may bear fruitage corresponding to the faithful service which he everywhere and at all times devotedly renders. Foreword TT IS the purpose of this ■ - book to record the activi ' ties in which you were en- gaged while at this institution. Herein are depicted in both words and pictures your work, your pleasures and your ac- complishments. When mem- ory grows dim and the mind wanders back to the days when each moment was a song of joy and each day a bond drawing us nearer and dearer to each other, then turn the pages of this book and live, in memory, more vividly the triumphs and the friendships formed here.
