FOREWORD We have remembered the educational leaders of the past century. We have begun the work of a new century of education. We now view the year just ended: a faculty supplying the reservoirs of knowledge from which we learn and grow, the seniors who go forth to the many fields of the future, the athletic teams that have brought new ustre to our school, the activities that have enhanced our special in- terests and the underclassmen who will continue the task of preparation for a better future. Your teachers have not been able to insulate you from the uncer- tainties of the world in which you live nor from the impact of the problems which will confront you. They have, however, tried to equip you with the basic skills and knowl- edge to meet these problems, to encour- age you to take part in civic responsibilities, and to strengthen those inner resources of character which are the mainstay of the American people. It is my hope that you will continue to grow in knowledge, in civic responsibilities and in moral integrity.
