Newcomers and veterans For every teacher September beck- ons the recurring challenge of imparting basic understanding in a way that will interest every student. Because each stu- dent is an individual who has his own way of responding to instruction, teach- ers perennially face a gigantic task. Nevertheless, the faculty willingly be- gins anew the quest for more effective methods of teaching not only academics, but also lessons of life.
