The approach of graduation naturally causes all of us to reflect upon the days here at West Chester Senior High School. As we ponder over our countless experiences, which of these will truly remain a significant part of our treasured remem- brances? To some it will be the experience of having achieved honor roll status as a result of diligent study. To others it will mean having scored a touchdown or taken an active part in sports. To the less athletic, but equally spirited, the fun-filled shouting of cheers will always convey a special importance. Some will never forget the weary pleasure of decorating for the long awaited prom. The musically-inclined will recall the rhythmic steps of the marching band and the gentle reverence of the Christmas program. Many, however, will need only the cherished reminder that they were once seniors — a time of life that comes just once. Surely we, as seniors, have received in high school an education that will prepare us for the future. But, more important than this, we have achieved the mental and moral soundness that is so vital to success in today’s troubled world. JOHN D. ROSS President—Class of 1962 JOHN A.
