This showing clinched third place in Ches-Mont League com- petition for the Warrior Harriers. They were led this year by their senior co-captains Jim Johnston and Randy Sweet. The two losses were to Coates- ville and Pottstown, but by only five points each. At the Pottstown meet, Jim Johnston and Junior George Wolfer both broke records previously set by Colin MacKinnon of Conestoga. George Wolfer also finished fourth in the Districts and qualified for the State Championships. Coach Ed Malikowski checks the time as cross-country co- captain Jim Johnston crosses the finish line to break another record. Ace runners Johnston and Wolfer, who both broke several records, led the squad through a successful season.

Under the capable leadership of coaches Oliver and Serff and co-captains John Huber and Jim Facciolli the Warrior soccer team completed a most successful season by tying Pequea Valley for the Inter-district co-championship. Prior to this the Booters had beaten Kennett Square to become co-champions of the Southern Chester County League and captured the District crown by defeating Lower Merion. The Booters’ final record was twelve wins, three losses, and three ties and their league record was eight wins, one loss, and one tie. With only six seniors leaving the varsity team, the prospects for a successful 1961 season are very bright. SOCCER FRONT ROW: L. Wheeler, S. Dorsey, R. Wager, L. Gerhard, D. Russ, C. Fox, C.
