 To our school board, to our administrators, to our faculty— we say thank you for marking the path to on education that will help us take our place in this complex world. Yours has not been an easy task. Never before have the schools of our country been so freely criticized, both by word of mouth and in print. You have walked calmly forward through this crisis, having planned carefully the path you wished to take. This path has pro- vided for expansion of our building facilities and has emphasized the need for a challenging curriculum. It has made room for more science and mathematics without losing sight of the need for the arts and the humanities. By example and by teaching, you have shown us the need for self-discipline and moral integrity. We are proud to follow in your footsteps, and in the years ahead, may you be proud of us. DR.
