Um Hcfmin' G. ARTHUR STETSON Superintendent of Schools You have completed a phase of your education, but, since education is a continuous process, do not stop. The importance of education is just two things: character and good manners. Any person who can develop these characteristics is educated. Be courteous and polite. That is a stage of civilization that all of us have not attained. Use your own mind for what it is worth, for you developed it. Do the best with what you have. The real tragedy of life is not being limited to one talent but failing to use that one talent. Start where you are with what you have and never be satisfied. Two forces worlcing to control your mind are fear and faith. Rather than fear, have faith in yourself, in your fellow man, and in God. Courtesy, politeness, energy, faith-culti- vate and practice these. B. REED HENDERSON. Superintendent. Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 'l95Ol You are graduating in a year of stress and strain both at home and abroad, much of which is the result of a break-down in ethical standards. What is right? This is the question your genera- tion must answer. As citizens and future parents you must determine a mores for the community that will give you and yours a standard of conduct that is worthy of your inheritance, and on which you can depend with confidence. G. A. STETSON, Superintendent. B. REED HENDERSON Principal Junior-Senior High School
