JAMES EMORY ALLEU FOLLOWING AFTER THE LORD ELIZABETH ANN BURKE DEVOTED ONE James is a fun and interesting person, his sense of humor differs from most others in a way that most people do not understand. There is never a dull moment when James is around, he always occupies himself with interesting hobbies like bicycling and hunting. Even though James jokes a lot. and is fun to be around, he has a serious side to him which is evident in his being elected class president. James is also there if ever you are in need of a good talk. These qualities will most likely help James a great deal as he plans on going to college to become an accountant. Marci is the kind of person that goes out of her way to meet people and become their friend. She is a very sweet and encouraging person who really cares about you. She has the ability to make you feel good about yourself even if you are down. She also has a real talent in helping you out with a problem you may have. She is a person who loves to laugh, and you soon find yourself laughing along with her. Marci is a really interesting person to talk to, and she will make time to talk to you because she is a giving person. All of these God given qualities will go with her as she plans on going to college, and will brighten others lives as she has brightened ours. Beth is a very unique girl in many ways. She is very determined in the jobs placed before her. You know that Beth will get the job done and done right because it is in her nature to do her best in everything. From yearbook to basketball everything she does receives the same personal touch. She is also a bright person who really lets her love for God and her friends radiate in everything she does. She sets her goals high and docs everything she can to acheive what she sets before her. She will give anyone the time of day, and if you need a friend, Beth is a good choice. Beth wants to continue her studies after high school, by going to Word of Life for a year, and then another Christian college to major in camp ministries. In looking for a good friend you have many things in your mind that you are going to want that person to be like. You want that person to be caring, always listening to your problems, and giving good, sound advice. Jennifer is one of those kinds o f people. She is as serious as she is a lot of fun. She enjoys many outings and events. She also enjoys a good talk with you about almost anything under the sun. She is very studious, but she doesn't let that get in the way of her caring attitude. She loves people, and that is evident in the way she treats her friends. After Jennifer graduates she plans on going to college and majoring in marine biology. After college. Dear Seniors: You made it! Your years at West Chester Christian School are are complete. You are a member of the 1987 graduating class. Now what? May I remind you that whereas up til now most decisions have been made for you: in the future more and more decisions will be yours alone. I am sure you have experienced many occasions when you expressed what you would do if you could. You may at least con- sidered how you would act, where you would go, with whom you would spend your time and so on. You have no doubt had to do many things over the years you would have preferred not to do and on the other hand refrained from things you have wanted to do. Get ready for the future. The school administrator and teachers are no longer in the picture. Dad and Mom will now gradually be pulling back their authority. You will stand directly answerable to the Lord for those places, people, practices and plans you have thought about in the past and are now considering for the future. We hope and pray the training you have received will go a long way m helping you form the convictions that will determine the pattern of your adult life. We will observe out of love and interest, trusting your testimony from high school graduation to heavenly graduation will exalt the Lord Jesus Christ. Sincerely in Christ, E. CYNTHIA LYNN CHAMBERLAIN A NEW MOON JUNE CHRISTINE GILBERT EVER YOUTHFUL Mike can be a really good friend and he is always ready to brighten up anyone 's day. Me loves to joke and tease, but he also knows when to be serious. Me accepts responsibility well, and can always be counted on when someone needs help. If ever you need a truthful answer to any situation, you can count on Mike to give it to you. Me serves as vice- president of the class and he love to play baseball which is one of his favorite hobbies. Mike is also a good student, who doesn t let outside influences bother him when there is something to be done. Mike is thinking about attending Pensacola next fall to follow his Lord's leading. If you are looking for sincerity, look no further. Cynthia is a special person, and sincerity is one of her good qualities. She is fun to be around and you can count on her for a friendly comment or a good heart to heart talk. Mot many people know Cynthia s concern for others, but those who know her know there is a depth to her that is rare in most people. Cynthia loves to play her clarinet, and has won many competitions. She uses the ability in solos and in the band. You know she gives it her all because you can see her genuine love for the Lord as well as for others. Cynthia will not have any problems as she takes these talents with her to Bob Jones University and she plans to major in music. Jennifer is a great person who loves the Lord and loves children. She works well with children of all ages. This year she helped Miss Boston with the sixth graders. Jennifer also is known for her humorous comments and a smiling face as you saw her around the halls of school. She is a very fun-loving person and knows how to have a good time and brighten up your day. Jennifer is also known for her smile as you can see her leading fans in cheers at soccer and basketball games. Mer fun nature will help her go far in life as she plans to go to college at Bob Jones University to major in elementary education, to work with the kids she loves so much. Openness and honesty are two qualities evident in June s life. She is a person who is trustworthy and one who is very considerate of others. You will never find her ignoring a person, but rather she stays by your side during your most difficult moments. That is very special in a person. June also has a light side to her which is evident if you ever get her laughing. She has a laugh that is quite contagious, and you will soon find yourself laughing along with her.
