Out of some twenty-four preacher s kids at WCCS, Jeff has got to be the one most associated with the title. Even though he sometimes felt that those let- ters “P.K. ’’following his name did nothing but bring him trouble, he definitely has brought a measure of honor to the post. If your day is dull or the conver- sion a bore, you can always rely on this P.K. for a humorous tale from one of his 2340 days (13 years) here at West Chester Christian School. Jeff will proudly carry his title on as he attends Bob Jones University to study Music History, and Political Sci- ence for a career in Politics. “Mom and Dad, thanks for loving me enough to send me to a Christian School. I love you very much. ” “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way ‘ by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. ’ Psalm 119:9-11 Choir 9, 10, 11, 12; Special Choir 10, 11, 12; Bas- ketball 9, 12; Baseball 12; Soccer 9, 11, 12; Play 11, 12. If you get excited about things like the Flyers, soccer season with Mr. Murphy, and 1968 Camaros, then you have something in common with Jim. One of the first to go all the way through West Chester Chris- tian School, Jim will always be remembered for his hard work in school and on the athletic field. His enthusiasm will be a big help to him in whatever he does. “Thanks, Mom and Dad, for sending me to WCCS. It has been great! I love you. Thanks to all my friends for all the fun times. ” “In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. ” Proverbs 3:6 Basketball 9, 10, 11, 12; Baseball 10, 11, 12; Soc- cer 9, 10, 11, 12. MELISSA ANN GRAHAM The saying goes “good things come in small pack- ages’’ and how true that is. We at WCCS have a living reminder of this truth with us every day in Melissa. Perhaps there are some disadvantages to being a “little people’’ (like when we put her purse on the top shelf), but Melissa makes up for her little body with her giant heart. As Editor-in-Chief of the 1985 Conqueror, Melissa demonstrated that she can be trusted with a big persons job. She also deserves credit for excelling in her studies earning a top rank in her class. It is our hope that Melissa's success continues as she attends Cederville College. “Mom and Dad, I want to thank you for giving me an excellent Christian education. I love you. ” “Ye are of Cod, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ” I John 4:4 Choir 11; Yearbook 11, 12; Years at WCCS 7. Now-a-days dedication in workers is pretty hard to come by, but there are those rare people who are truly dedicated to their work. If you are looking for someone like this, look no farther. Kim is just the girl you want. Completing high school has never been easy, but to keep up with your assignments while impressing your boss at a part time job requires work, which is something Kim is not afraid of. When Kim goes to Bob Jones University to study Account- ing, the sky will be her limit. It will be no surprise to her classmates when she achieves her goal of serving the Lord as a Certified Public Accountant. “I praise the Lord that my dad loved me enough to send me to WCCS. I love you, Dad!! “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. ” Philippi- ans 4:11-13 Choir 9, 10, 11, 12; Special Choir 10, 11, 12; Bas- ketball 9; Yearbook 11, 12; Years at WCCS 5. LEE SHEARER JOHNSON, JR. Tfte truth is, we did not quite know what to expect when we learned that we were getting a new class- mate from “the other side”, but when Tracy came to our school from Calvary Christian, we were all pleasantly surprised, especially Lee! Tracy will sure- ly continue to charm her peers as she attends Bob Jones University to study Secretarial Science. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways ac- knowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ” Prov- erbs 3:5, 6 “Thank you Mom and Dad, for all you have done for me. You are both very special. I love you. ” Choir 9, 10, 11, 12; Soccer Cheerleading 11; Bas- ketball Cheerleading 12; Years at WCCS 31 2. What a character! We will all long remember “J” for his enthusiastic participation both on the athletic field and in lunchtime conversation. Unfortunately, “Leeman” will have to find someone else beside Karen to “hook him up” with his daily lemonade when he goes to college to study Political Science. “Mom and Dad, your financial and parental support ( through my academic years is greatly appreciated. A sincere thanks to my family and grandmother. ” ( “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteouas Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, ( but unto all them also that love His appearing. ” II Timothy 4:5-8 Basketball 9, 10, 11, 12; Baseball 12; Soccer 9, 11, 12; Yearbook 10, 11, 12; Years at WCCS 7.
