Why is the hallway filled with smoke? Is the school burning down? No, it’s just another one of Wayne’s Physical Science experiments. It was certainly a very interesting year for Wayne and the students of the Physical Science class. As assistant to Mr. Brain, (or was it the other way around?) Wayne was quite successful in communicating with his students. Of course that is no surprise to his classmates, who have all gotten to know Wayne for his way of getting the message across whatever the situation. Surely he will continue in his success as he attends Widener University shooting for a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. Thanks, Mom, for all you’ve done. I love you. “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. ” II Corinthians 8:9 Yearbook 12; Years at WCCS 4. WAYNE JOSEPH GAMBLE How could anyone ever forget “Ronnie”, the one who is responsible for bringing a little bit of Southern California into all of our lives. With her chic clothing and her unique spirit of pizaz, she added new life to our class. Although only at WCCS three years, she has become as much a part of the group as those who have been here since day one. Veronica will surely go on spreading smiles as she continues her education at Liberty Baptist College. “I’d like to thank everyone for making me feel wel- come here and making me a part of everything. Thanks to Mom and Dad!” “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. ” Psalm 37:4 Choir 10, 11, 12; Volleyball 10, 11, 12; Basketball 12; Yearbook 11. BRIAN JOHN BURKE Some people are afraid of challenge, but Brian al- ways faces his battles head on. Even when the ene- my is closing in, Brian never throws in the towel. His firey, never-give-up attitude has made him a terror on any athletic field (or rink) and, in a more subdued way, has driven him to work hard in his school work. His explosive personality will surely drive him to great heights in his college studies as he learns Busi- ness Administration or Computer Science at The Kings College. “A big thanks to all my friends and family; you’re the best. ” “And Cod shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and their shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. ” Revelation 21:4 Basketball 9; Baseball 10, 11, 12; Soccer 9, 10, 11; Years at WCCS 5. Randy will not only be remembered for his great stature, which was quite evident on the basketball court, but also for his even greater character seen in the classrooms and halls each day. As president of the class throughout his high school years and cap- tain of the basketball team his senior year, he dis- played the strength and leadership of a true man of God. He will always be looked up to wherever he goes. “Thank you, Mom and Dad. I love you. ” “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteth in thee. ’’ Isaiah 26:3 Choir 9, 10, 11, 12; Special Choir 10, 11, 12; Bas- ketball 9, 10, 11, 12; Baseball 11, 12; Soccer 9, 10, 11, 12; Yearbook 11, 12; Years at WCCS 13. 20 ROBERT RANDALL CARMAN

MELISSA ANN GRAHAM The saying goes “good things come in small pack- ages’’ and how true that is. We at WCCS have a living reminder of this truth with us every day in Melissa. Perhaps there are some disadvantages to being a “little people’’ (like when we put her purse on the top shelf), but Melissa makes up for her little body with her giant heart. As Editor-in-Chief of the 1985 Conqueror, Melissa demonstrated that she can be trusted with a big persons job. She also deserves credit for excelling in her studies earning a top rank in her class. It is our hope that Melissa's success continues as she attends Cederville College. “Mom and Dad, I want to thank you for giving me an excellent Christian education. I love you. ” “Ye are of Cod, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ” I John 4:4 Choir 11; Yearbook 11, 12; Years at WCCS 7. Now-a-days dedication in workers is pretty hard to come by, but there are those rare people who are truly dedicated to their work. If you are looking for someone like this, look no farther. Kim is just the girl you want. Completing high school has never been easy, but to keep up with your assignments while impressing your boss at a part time job requires work, which is something Kim is not afraid of. When Kim goes to Bob Jones University to study Account- ing, the sky will be her limit. It will be no surprise to her classmates when she achieves her goal of serving the Lord as a Certified Public Accountant. “I praise the Lord that my dad loved me enough to send me to WCCS. I love you, Dad!! “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. ” Philippi- ans 4:11-13 Choir 9, 10, 11, 12; Special Choir 10, 11, 12; Bas- ketball 9; Yearbook 11, 12; Years at WCCS 5.
