Leo D'Arcangelo Administrator Teacher 'eruord From the Principal to the Graduating Class It is with great pleasure that I write these words to the first graduating class of our school. Over this past year, all three of the graduates have been a tremendous spiritual joy, not only to me, but to the rest of the staff as well as to the students. As our school grows, my prayer is that there will be more graduating students leaving us with the same spiritual desires. The Bible declares in Colossians 3 that we ought to seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God and to set our affections on things above and not on the things on the earth. Paul also declares in Hebrews that we should keep looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. As each of you go out from the doors of this school, respect other Christians for their high spiritual quality, but do not let these individuals become your standard. The only true spiritual success that you can depend on is the success that has come from keeping your eyes on the Lord Jesus. Christians all have their shortcomings and many of these shortcomings have caused younger Christians to falter because they have had their eyes on man rather than God. The Israelites saw the glory of God when the waters parted, and they walked through. Instead of giving God all the glory, they looked at Moses as the great deliverer. When Moses did not return from the mount, they automatically faltered and sinned greatly. The reason for the sin resulting in their lives was their looking at Moses as the light rather than God as the true Light. Jesus said, I am the Light of the world. He that follows me shall not walk in darkness. Hy prayer for each of you is that you will leave this school as lights going into a world of darkness, your power being in and continually sustained by Jesus Christ. Sincerely in Christ
