The Staff has earnestly tried to prepare you for the battles of life as you move out on your own. We have not tried to shel- ter you, but to guide you and prepare you in every way for the challenges ahead. You were given to your parents by God to train up and nurture in the admonition of the Lord. With love and concern they have purposely built several fences around you. The first fence'is .a godly Christian home. With the home, they have added the second fence - a good Bible-believing church. These two institutions have been ordained of God to teach you a Biblical approach to life. Your parents realized as good stewards the need of one more fence - a Christian education. Here at WCCS you have learned the academics of life with a strong Bibli- cal emphasis. These three fences have protected you in your early childhood and adolescent years while giving the Word of God the rightful place. When temptations come it will be this very Word of God, hidden in your heart, which will enable you to withstand the world, the flesh, and the devil. We send you forth with one constant prayer, that you will put on the whole armor of God. May this final verse be your shield as it has been mine. Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, ...honest, ... just, ...pure, ...lovely, ...of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
