PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE To succeed in school and life we must have a concern and consideration for our fellow stu- dents and all others with whom we have contact on our way through life. Learning good citizen- shipis one of the basic needs of every student. At West Central we are proud of our Senior class. The class as a whole has learned to cooperate with their group and with the faculty. The members of the 'Class of '59' have grown in character and have won the respect of others in the community and state. The students have demonstrated a good attitude toward almost everything in which they have participated. The student body ranked well in the Iowa Tests of Educational Develop- ment and the extra-curricular program has been successful, with a fine record in the athletic, vocal, and instrumental music pro- grams.
