The ribbons and wrappings of the cafetorium were torn away on December 27 and 28 to expose a Christmas setting of the late l800's. Although the iunior and senior parties were held on separate days, An Old Christmas Fantasy still prevailed. One corner was reserved for a quaint fireplace setting. A grandfather clock approaching midnight and an old- fashioned tree, complete with handmade ornaments, added to the festive decor. An antique sleigh was also on hand to provide the guests with imaginary sleigh rides. An original version of A Christmas Carol and the music of The Child Buyers enlivened the iuniors party. The Fugitives and traditional Christmas carols added to the senior program. Punch, popcorn, and various con- fections were served as refreshments to any of the hungry party-goers. The dual efforts of many upperclassmen brought about two very successful and enioyable parties. Modern teenagers enioy an old-fashioned Christmas. perclassmen share In An Old Christmas Fantasy A cozy fireplace scene lends a warm atmosphere to the parties.
