Coach Billy Widgeon talks with the team during a fvq time out. From football to track, from fall to spring, there is a full year of sports activi- ties at W.C.H.S. Football players begin practicing in summer's heat, followed by volleyball and soccer players. The basketball and wrestling teams keep spirits going during the winter. Even though winter's cold still lingers, track, tennis, golf, and basketball are heralds of spring. There were losses and dis- appointments, but there was excitement and suc- cess as well. Every athlete feels it is worth the time and effort. Fans and friends show support during the disappointments as well as during the successes and help to keep the team going. David Yancey, Most Valuable Player, Regional Tournament Team SPORTS -- 75
