I That Special Extra Touch tudents often forget the amount of xtra time that faculty and staff members give. Aside from the re- ponsibilities of preparing class ssignments and figuring grades, iany teachers spend extra hours vith clubs, sports, and special pro- rams. Department heads also give dditional time after the school day 1 planning with the administration. Ilub advisors planned activities nd were on hand to supervise. they also attended day or overnight meetings which enabled students to o. Mr. Roger Newby and members fthe FFA traveled to Kansas City s they do each year, after bringing ome the State awards during sum- mer meetings. Special programs involved many extra hours. Successes can be at- tributed to the dedication of per- formers and advisors. Counselors gave advice, helped with registration, college and test- ing. Other staff members were available during planning time to work with students. Without the extra time given by fac- ulty and staff members as well as by Mr. Nelson, Mr. Patrick, and Mrs. Taylor there would not have been the extra touch that made school run smoothly and filled with special activities. 46 fairy Hlomzi 5 Us My 'ammjf .. ,. .-.W ...1 1,., . . .....1.W.M.s..........,.... . ,,,, New -. 0,1-..Lt,..-.. my ' gang su ' ,,-.. , f i s . .,5..1gx,1,,1 --1- .... , 1 1 1+ Q lr .1 1, .Q 1 . ,g 3 5 ' Q: . hh 1 FACULTYXSTAFF - 67
