RAMON NAVARRO Ramon is from Manilla, the capital of the Philippines. He is completing his high school studies as an exchange student and is staying with Marion Wustenhoffe of Newport. He enjoys soccer very much and was a member of the WC soccer team. He is a person with a big smile and a sense of humor. He says his hobbies are watching T.V. and sleeping. When asked why he came to America, he says, My mother made me come: she didn't want me. We know better, Ramon. We are glad you came. 14 - INTRODUCTION Friendship From Across The Seas. Ramon attended the State Convention of Student Councils with Dan McCormick, Sherley BENTE KLEIDAL Bente is from Osb, Norway. She is staying with the Chandlers of Newport this year. She is very interested in sports especially skiing, windsurfing, and hiking. She is a member of the WCHS Marching Patriots and plays the saxaphone. Bente said that school here is very different from the school system in Norway. We are happy Bente chose to come to West this year.
