The band year seems never to end. When the final concert is over and school is out for the year, band members plan for summer camps and summer practices. The year opens with performances at football games, parades, and participation in festivals and competitions. Sales of citrus fruits help to support the band in paying for these activities. Members of the West Carteret Singers, Concert Choir, Small En- semble and Chorus provided us with many enjoyable hours of song through formal and hallway con- certs. Some of these groups also attended festivals and competi- tions. Band members and chorus stu- dents helped with the production of MY FAIR LADY and with the Veter- ans Day celebration. From fall practices and organizations through spring concerts and awards ceremonies, music is an im- portant and valuable part of our year. X ,l to K MUSIC - 147
