22 • Senior Night Seniors Leave Home October 29, known as Senior Night, will always live in the minds of the 1983 graduates. This special night was kicked off with a salute to the parents of the football players and cheerleaders. During halftime, the senior band members were put into the spotlight with “What I Did for Love.” The senior flag members were featured with “Mirada,” and the senior Carroll-tones showed their “Hot Stuff” for the last time. The football players ended the night with a 14-8 victory over Edgewood. It was truly a night to be remembered as the seniors “Stepped Out in Style.”

24 • Expressions Animated Characters People go through many different moods in a day. Friends can tell these moods many times by the facial expressions of others. Body language plays a major part in communication. Learning to read each other's gestures and facial expressions can teach one a lot about someone's personality. With a single glance, one is able to tell whether a person is angry, sad, content, or happy. Being aware of people and their expressions can eliminate conflicts and can help enhance the understanding, the cooperation, and the fun.
