16 • Spirit Week Spirit Runs Rampant Spirit Week was a very unusual week at West Carrollton High School. The week consisted of Western Day, Punk Day, Pajama Day, Servant Day, and the traditional Red and Black Day. West Carrollton's first Punk Day was the most successful day of the week. Multi-colored hair was seen everywhere, as punkers roamed the halls. A fun time was had by all in what proved to be one of the most spirit-filled weeks in a fun-filled school year.

18 • Homecoming Weekend Let Us Entertain You “That's Entertainment was the theme of this year's Homecoming. The parade began at 10 on Saturday morning. The parade consisted of clowns, the band, cheerleaders, floats, the Court, dignitaries, and old-fashioned cars. Pre-game ceremonies and the crowning of the king and queen started at 12:15 at the stadium. At 1:00 p.m., the traditional school rivals clashed on the football field. The Miamisburg Vikings defeated the mighty Pirates, 20-0. The last event was the homecoming dance held at the high school gym at 8:30. The gym was decorated with top hats, white gloves, and movie posters. Couples danced to the music of the “Music Man”, closing our celebration.
