Strike Up The Band BAND: a group of musicians organized for playing together. The West Carrollton High School Marching Band fits this description of a band in every way. The band’s season begins in early July and ends in November. The season itself begins with band camp during one week of the summer and continues through daily practices, first period rehearsals and Friday night football games. The band members work very hard, and this year their hard work was rewarded when they brought home two first place trophies and one grand champion trophy. The West Carrollton High School Band is truly a group that has banded together for playing together. Sheri Corey plays her star-struck piccolo. The Big Pirate Marching Machine .. before and after. Foreign Exchange Students 19 “I Want To Thanks Every People Who I Have Met And Everybody Have Been So Nice To Me.” Christer Wissing Christer Wissing came to us from Linkoping, Sweden, to experience his Senior year at West Carrollton Senior High. Christer proved to be a great asset to our golf and soccer teams. He also participated in ski club and was an active member of the Monday Night Club. During the 1979-80 school year, Christer also hopes to participate in track or to play spring soccer. While in West Carrollton, Christer stayed with the Eikens and the Hearnes. With his spirit and charm, Christer has been a unique contribution to West Carrollton.
