Soccer “78” This was the first year for Varsity Soccer at West Carrollton. The team gained a lot of experience and a feeling of closeness developed between the players and coach that will make the first year for soccer something to look back on with pride. The team ended their season with a 5-10 record. 28 Soccer

Black Pack . . . Runnin’ Strong The West Carrollton Cross Country team had a super season! The Black Pack finished second in the tough M.C.C. league this year. The team highlight for the season was winning the Bethel Invitational. The greatest individual accomplishment came from Senior Todd Deisher, who finished thirty-fifth at state competition. The female runners on the Black Pack posted strong finishes for the first year that girls’ cross country was recognized as a varsity sport. Our congratulations to Coach Foland and the Black Pack.
