Pirate Pride The Pirates victorious season began on a Hot August morning. The days were long and the practices were grueling. Team work, dedication, and the support of West Carrollton gave the team their 8-1-1 record which placed them second in the Miami Central Conference. Head Coach, Lonnie Norris had this to say: “I was very pleased with our season and I am looking forward to next season already. I would like to thank-you, our quality seven Seniors for their efforts and play. We will surely miss these young men and wish them well.” Special honors were given to Dave Storer, Mark Warlaumont and John Morrow for being named to the MCC first team. Seniors Tim Bond, Brian Inderrieden, Dave Thomas, and Junior Doug Compton were named to the MCC second team. Dave Banas received the scholor athlete award.
