At the right are Jack Pummill, captain for the West Carrollton-Eaton game, and Janice Wireman as they leave the field following the crowning ceremony. They are preceded by their Junior attendants, Yvonne Greene and David McClelland. After the game, in the last thirty seconds of which West Carrollton broke the scoreless tie to win 7-0, the Homecoming Dance was held in the school gymnasium. A large number of alumni joined the students and faculty to dance to the music of Karl Taylor and his orchestra.
