Principal ' s Message To the Class of ' 75: This is my 3rd year as Principal of West Campus, BHS and perhaps it will be my last as next year I have been invited to participate in a national administrative intern- ship program. I feel very good about the experiences I have had here at West Campus and I would like to indicate that each year has been even better than the previous one. This year ' s class most particularly has been a joy with which to work even though my schedule has been somewhat awkward. You have been accepting of the innovations we ' ve instituted and have also been the recipients of a number of experi- mental programs and ideas in such areas as the cafeteria and snack bar, physical education curriculum, athletic teams, and other expanded offerings. Man} 7 of these changes and additions we hope will have been a motivating factor in keeping you here at school, interested in educa- tion, and in building a trust toward the establishment . We have faith in our young people and we will be follow- ing your school careers with interest and concern. We shall be in constant touch with you throughout your years in the Berkeley schools evaluating the long range effects of the programs that we hoped would add to your growth and that were naturally affected by your involvement. Each of us certainly would like to be remembered as one who did make a positive contribution to your future and we ' re sincere when we say we wish you the very best and thank you for allowing us to work with you.
