To the Class of 1972 Being new to West Bridgewater Jr.-Sr. High School, I feel I am still getting to know you , and yet in the time I've been your Vice Principal, the school and many of you have become familiar to me. I congratulate every member of the Class of 1972 and wish for each of you many years of healthy, rewarding lives honorably lived, and the ability to function purposefully in a complex changing society. Hopefully, your high school experience has helped you develop these characteristics. Yours sincerely, Robert F. Gazda 9

-P11 During the past twelve years you have been developing attitudes, acquiring value systems, assimilating knowledge and establishing vocational desires that will decide the life style you will follow in your adult life. . You have been building for a positive life, one that will contribute significantly to solving contemporary problems. As sincere and determined young adults you will find yourselves responsible for the preservation of our heritage for your benefit and that of posterity. It is you who must pro- vide direction and leadership necessary to reach humanitarian goals. My experience with you, members of the Class of 1972, has been limited at the time I am writing this message. In the short time we have worked to- gether I am favorably impressed with your acquired knowledge, wisdom and acceptance of responsibility. You have indicated that you are not only Will- ing but able to accept the challenge confronting you. For some of you this will be going on to higher education, for others the necessity of serving your country and for many the beginning of fulfilling vocational goals . Undoubtedly, you have contributed greatly to the West Bridgewater school system. As you leave, pause for a moment to remember the first grade teacher who started your formal education, the junior high school teacher who was your confidant when troubled and your senior high school teacher who encouraged you toward your present goals. Most of all show your appreciation to your parents for tneir enduring faith in you and for their love of which they have given so freely. Con- gratulations, best of luck and may God bless you as you lead a long and wholesome life. Sincerely yours, S. Erick Benson 8
