SOCIAL STUDIES The social studies department strives to prepare students to meet future challenges. Through history we become acquainted with the years of trial and error which have prod- uced the world as it is today. Through geo- graphy we gain an awareness of the world around us. Through problems of democracy we learn the structure of our federal govern- ment which will make us better citizens of tomorrow.
