IWRESEDURATTODI ATHMBUTE.M In past years, the CLIMBER has been pre- sented to the school by the senior classg this year the presentation is to the Class of 1956. Each teacher and each underclassman wish the best for this class. It is only fitting, then, that the CLIMBER be presented to the class as a memento of the days and hours that passed too quickly. The members of this class were born on the dark eve of Wforld War II as Hitler invaded Poland. Childhood play was mixed with news of Tunisia, Salerno and the Solomons. Adolescence heard the rumbling echoes from Seoul. As ma- turity beckons its spiny hand, a peace exists- with strings attached. God willing, the Class of 1956 will not ac- cept the abnormal as normal. May these students live to know a true peace. Today's generation cannot give it to themg it is too late. May they give it to themselves. Wfith this affirmation of faith in youth, this CLIMISIZR is proudly presented to the Class of 1956.
