SPECIAL THANKS . People learn from experience. When the yearbook editors held their first meeting in May of 1980, we thought that producing a yearbook would be a relatively simple task. However, the editors quickly learned that this was not the case. Mrs. Sharron Hubbard, our advisor, was then a novice in the yearbook field. As the year progressed, together, we learned the many phases necessary for the completion of this yearbook. Often, there were times of confusion and frustration, but nevertheless, without Mrs. Hubbard, the year- book staff s job would not have been as suc- cessful. The yearbook staff wishes to express their many thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Hubbard for her work in producing our year- book. The yearbook editors would sincerely like to extend their gratitude to Mr. Winthrop Handy of Winthrop Studio in West Boylston for his unfailing enthusiasm and competence in taking countless photographs. His unselfish devotion of time and talent contributed greatly to the production of this yearbook. From taking a quality photograph to printing hundreds of different-sized pictures, Mr. Handy was always very willing to help. It is with deep gratefulness and thanks that we dedicate the photography of this yearbook to Mr. Winthrop Handy. 16
