ORCHARD LAKE, MICHIGAN WEST BLOOMFIELD HIGH SCHOOL Dedication To you, Mrs. Childers, whose inspirational guidance and leadership will be long remembered after graduation, we dedicate our yearbook. Your understanding and faith in our ability made each project a challenging success. Lo- cated but a short distance down this hallway, you are al- ways willing to give your time, not only to students stopping by to discuss a biology or science assignment, but also for the many football concessions or memorable dance in the gymnasiurn. 9 A moment's look any hour of the day into the biology room i finds many interesting happenings such as the growth of new-born guinea pigs or the collections taken from a botanical nature hike and study. May we, the class of 1959, be a tribute to West Bloomfield High School as you, Mrs. Childers, are to your profession We extend sincere wishes to you in the coming years for as we dip into the future we see happiness and continued suc- cess for you. In july its legislature helped develop a program to insure bus rides to all away games. The Homecoming dance in October and the February Talent Show, sponsored by the Council and faculty advisor, Mr. Carr, included two high points of the year. The president presides over all meetings and attends all Inter- League meetings. In his executive capacity he gives advice requested.
