Seated --- Jeanne Hammes, Karen Skuldt, lane Bauer. SENIOR HOROSCOPE You have a great interest -in human. nature. You respect the feelings of others. You are generous in aiding others to social betterment. However, there is no one free from faults, and you have some which need correct-ion. Turn your interests outward. Your search for happi- ness will he rewarded if you keep at it. 'iii-F' PISCES . . . SENIORS Standing --- Leon Goska, Eric Skuldt, Errol Reksten. Four years have passed since that day in Sep- tember, 1957, when 273 of us embarked on our high school career. Our freshman year was devoted to getting oriented. The vastness of the building with its crowded halls soon became second nature to us. With Peter Berkholtz as president, Rosemary Fran- kow as vice-president, and Jane Bauer as secretary- treasurer leading our class, we made our successful debut. As sophomores, President Bob Wegner, Vice- president Kathy Eklo, and Secretary-treasurer julie Simoneau took over the helm. Our Post Prom party, with Carousel as the theme, took long hours of planning and execution, as did the many extra- curricular activities in which we sophomores suc- cessfully engaged. As our junior year rolled around, our class really made its mark. Thirteen of our classmates were selected as members of NHS, six were now on YAC Council, and many junior boys excelled in sports. Led by President Bob VVegner, Vice-pres- ident john Metz, and Secretary jane Bauer, we decorated the new gym in a beautiful Bali Ha'i theme for our prom. Queen Kathy Eklo and King Bob XVegner led the grand march. Our senior year proved that we could excel in many things. Eric Skuldt was elected president of the Student Senate, Ruth VVegener, vice-presidentg and julie Simoneau, secretary-treasurer. Another first, for our class was Kenney Schowalter's selec- tion as a full-time AFS exchange student in Italy. Our vice-president, Linda Baumann, was elected DAR Winner, and the accomplishments of the other officers, President john Metz, Secretary Jane Rip- ple, and Treasurer Cheri Roberts are told on the pages devoted to Sports, National Honor Society, Campus Clipper, etc. Our classmates did well in sports too, and scholastic honors were gleaned by many. Having made our mark at VVest Bend high school, 260 of us will be in the processional june 8.
