The Facult . . . Intern teaching is a new idea in the field of edu- cation, and we at West Bend High have been fortunate to benefit by it. In this type of teaching preparation, young people who have received their degrees in the arts but have not majored in education are given the opportunity to participate in actual classroom situations. The exper- ience they gain by spending a semester in a school enables them to receive credits toward their graduate FACULTY HOROSCOPE You are happy in your role of leadership. Control of your impulses enables you to fill your job with grace and competence. To achieve your future goal may take much time, labor, and will- ing patience, but you give of these willingly. The English department discusses possibilities for curriculum improvement. work and to better prepare them for their first year of teaching. The University of Wisconsin is among the leaders in this program of intern teaching. Mr. Burget spent the first semester at WBHS teaching biol0gYS Miss WVeinbroer worked with Miss Birkholz in the English department. Mr. Mullen, who was in the science depart- ment the second semester, also did his intern work in biology.
