Recall any Memories into a blanket of white as the blue spruce at the entrance to the school bend their needles to the ground under the weight of snow. In the spring the spruce appear in their rich hues again as the ground wears its carpet of green. How often have we driven past and proudly pointed out to visitors that this was our campus. For many of us, the appearance of the WVest Bend High School grounds has changed in the past four years. NVhen our freshman year began, a serene pond lay at the north-east end of the campus. However, as the school rapidly expand- ed with a new addition in 1958, the pond was filled in, the tennis courts were moved from the south-east corner of the campus to the north side, a large student parking lot was added, and the now familiar features of Bucky Badgerv were raised over the south entrance in the rear of the school. As we leave in Iune, our colorful campus is sure to remain a fond memory. CAMPUS

E ff? --- CHARLES DALMON The mystic roots and seeds spoken of by the poet surely are embodied in the stately ever- greens, the lofty oaks, and the other foliage that grace the campus of XVest Bend High School. The splendor of this campus makes our morning walks across its dew-drenched lawns and the tense moments that we spent at Bruhy Field during football games or track events some of the most enjoyable experiences in our high school career. The trees and shrubs lend a rare touch of sylvan beauty to our campus as the seasons change. The mellow tones of fall are softened
