Superintendent Holt and his family: Mary, Bob, Jim, Mrs. Holt, and Superintendent Holt. Whenever a community shows educational growth, it is evident that behind this progress are men of foresight. To such an individual we dedicate The 1959 Bend. To the students and faculty of West Bend High School Superintendent Fred Holt represents understanding, guid- ance, and encouragement. His greatest attribute, however, is his foresight --- foresight which has kept the educational system apace with the growth of the community. p Under his leadership, during the past eleven years, both the high school and the grade schools have expanded. At the same time, a broader curriculum has been offered, and the educational rating of th'e VVest Bend Public Schools has improved. XVe regret that this year is his last one at YVest Bend, we wish him well as the new superintendent at Janesville, Wisconsin.
