Juniors The m3g1C year At last we were Junlors recog mzed by all as upperclassmen Soon after school began we elected Fred Schultz as Presldent D1ck Metzger as V1ce Presl dent and Llnda Bart as Secretary Treasurer The Homecomlng f9StlVlt16S were hlghllghted by our Junlor Queen Llnda Bart Several Jumor homerooms won honors for the1r floats and w1n dows In October we selected our class r1ng How proud and happy we were when we recelved them just before Chrxstmas' Many Jumors contrlbuted thelr ab1l1t1es to school dramatlcs D1ck Metzger and V1Ckl Krltz partlclpated 1n the all school play A Dance Wlth Our Mlss Brooks Wynette Grether Judy Barber and Dlck Metzger helped make the operetta H M S Plnafore a huge success We were proud of Bob Glombettl who was the hlghest scorer 1n basketball 1n the Llttle Ten Herb Tennles Paul Gumm Dave Klem Jerome Spaeth sports The varslty cheerleadmg team mcluded four of our classmates Madellne Rost captaln Llnda Bart Laurle Tollack and Pat Frankow Several Junlors excelled 1n speech work Judv Barber and Mlldred Gundrum went on to the state contest 1n forenslcs Of course the blggest thrlll of the year was our Junlor Prom Svx eet n Lovely was the theme Mary Metz greets some College Day representatives 28 JUNIORS Goa to Go Z K., '-s,.,,,r ll!
