MARSHALL G. BATHO WARREN L, EVENSON Superintendent Principal Introducing our new principal, Mr. Warren L. Evenson, who came to our school in 1947, after serving four and one-half years as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He started his career in education at Mercer, Wisconsin, where he coached football, baseball, and basketball and taught mathematics. Mr. Evenson received his B.S. degree at the LaCrosse State Teachers College and a M.A. degree at the University of Chicago. Mr. Batho, after six years of administrative leadership in our schools, has resigned his position to accep: a similar post at LaCrosse. The school board, the shapers of school policy, have a new member this year, Robert -I. Stoltz, who was elected in July, 1947. He succeeds D. J. Kenny as clerk of the board. james R.
