x Here's the class of 1950 - another ambitious class. As proof ot this, the 166 juniors elected on October 7, the following capable officers: Peter Krentz, president: Hugh Hollister, vice-president: Jill Cagle, secretary: and Dave Grey, treasurer. Judy Powell, Helen Schramm, Virginia Nehring, and Connie Wildman completed the cabinet. The advisers of the class were Miss Sauer, head adviser: Mr. Meyer, counselor: Miss Grandy, Miss Brown, Miss Hen- dricks, and Mr. Felts. Some of the many things the class of '50 has accomplished in their third year of high school are the Junior class play, The Great Big Door Step , which was a great success, their concession at the Band Carnival, and the Jr.-Sr. Prom lpresented June 4 lor the senior classl. The 'juniors have made up, l've noticed too, a large percentage of the mem- bers of the Band, A Capella Choir, and the Red and Blue stati- By much hard work and many spectacular plays the iuniors proved invaluable in sports. The football team was aided by the regular playing of several iuniors, while the basketball team played more than hall ot the season with three iuniors on the team. PAGE 20
