As one of its main purposes to understand and appreciate the people south of the border and across the sea, Los Amigos were able to go farther than their classrooms and explore the delightful Spanish customs. The year was highlighted by the annual fiesta which included Spanish dinner, songs, entertainment, and of course the breaking of the Pinata. Ran American Day was also celebrated with the colorful customs from lands no longer foreign to us.
