The boys of the Bulldog football team gallantly fought through the fall season and put forth their very best efforts for their Alma Mater under the direction of head coach, Lynn lordan. The boys endured strenuous workouts every night after school. Each game they put forth their best especially on homecoming night when they broke a long time jinx by trouncing Cudahy for Central's first homecoming victory in eleven years. No football season would seem complete without the traditional game between the Bulldogs and the Huskies There was much controversy as to which team outplayed the other but the score board showed an even score of 6 6 Weather meant nothing to the team for they braved games when it was so cold it was necessary for them to wear gloves as well as games when it was so wet that it was difficult to handle the old pigskin N matter what the hardships were you could always count on the boys to be in good spirits and do their best All of the games didnt bring victories but a defeat meant only that there was that much more to play for in the next game and the boys fought with an unimaginable amount of fury The new boys of the team as well as the veteran players respected their fellow teammates and their captain Ed Zabel They knew that the key to good playing is in team work and that is what the Bulldogs used as the basis of their playing ext year they ll shine 7' B Team Football tFirst Rowl Iohn Erdahl Bob Haller Ken Mittelsteadt Tom Cottello Dominic Morgese Louis Katura tSecond Rowl Coach Iaecks Terry Newman Charles Guruman Iohn Novak Robert Haberman Dick Schetter Ierry Allen Bill Meddaugh Bernie Rodd Coach Dich fThird Rowl Wayne Kellogg Ken Brielmaier Erv Nowak Richard Larsen Ronald Kassel Dick Sarenac Gary Radtke Mike Verban Gerry Iaecks fFourth Rowl Raymond Farrell Bruce Becker lim Staples Ronald Mack Gerald Wagner Kurt Kintzler Ken Kratz Ierry Erdmann 1 1 1 .
