Sophomore candgdates and new students also played a large part in Centrals gridiron battles and the discovery of some of these fellows helped a great deal later in the season After a slow start the Bulldogs picked up sfcain and by midseason were rolling right along When the City Championship game came the team was able to handle the situation without much trouble.
