The Yearbook staff chose ro add two new categories ro rhe traditional ones this year: Most Unique — a girl and a boy who are undoubtedly individuals in rheir own unique way. and Most Fun To Oe Wirh — a girl and a boy who bring joy and happiness ro a LOT of people. SENIOR WEEK Class Color Doy come as o blosr ro Freshman Stacy Lutz in green, Sopho-! more Lisa Leo in blue, Junior Dricelyn Shafron wore whire and Senior Dave j Hiebner was stacked our in block. Ir was chilly on rhe week of November 2nd — 6rh in rhe Senior Hallway for rhe 1988 Senior Class. ‘ChiB Our Wirh rhe Seniors’ wos rhe rheme of rhis years Senior Week. Many evenrs wenr on during rhe week rhar were well worrh menrioning, such os rhe dress-up days. Monday srorred our rhe week wirh backwards day. A wild and crazy doy where rhe Seniors os well os rhe underclassmen dressed, ro pur ir simply — backwards, by wearing shirrs, skirts, jeans and even earrings backwards! Senior Tammi Scherbo commenred, Ir was very uncomfortable ro wear your pants backwards, bur ir was very funny ro see orher people backwards. Tuesday conrinued Senior Week wirh class color day. The Seniors were decked our in black, rhe Juniors wore whire, rhe Sophomores blue, and rhe Freshmen were dressed in green. Wednesday was Toga Pajama Party Day. The sru-denrs either wore Togos — as did rhe Greeks — or pajamas ro school. Junior Paula Mooney chose ro dress in pajamas because, Ir was very comfortable ro come ro school in whor you'd wear ro bed. Thursday brought on Beach Bum Day. A day rhe students gor ro wear shorrs, hars, rowels and sunglasses as if rhey were going ro rhe Beach. Friday brought a close ro Senior Week wirh rhe annual Red-n-Gray Day along wirh rhe lost Pep Assembly of rhe year. Students painted rhem-selves up wirh our school colors. Thor nighr, rhe last Foorball Game of rhe year was played against Sourh Fayerre, unfor-runarely. our Indians losr 10-0. Senior Week also brought on rhe Powderpuff Football Game. A flog foorball game againsr rhe Senior girls and rhe Junior girls. Though os usual, rhe Juniors were favored, rhe Seniors massacred rhem wirh a shurour of 14-0. Also on Thursday, rhe rrodirional Bonfire was held rhar nighr despire chilling weorher. Despire English teacher, Mr. Rheam's comment, It was great in motivating school spirit, bur ir distracted students from their dasswork, Senbr Week was a success.
