May you grow up to be righteous May you grow up to be true May you always know the truth and see the light surrounding you. May you always be courageous, stand up right and be strong and may you stay, forever young. May your hands always be busy. May your feet always be swift. Mr Melnick and his wild and crazy crew i The Reverend loe Schulz THE BUDDING OF A FUTURE The budding of a future. It's a tale of growth. A story of change. A lot happens to you in your years in high school. From that day in September when you step off the bus at the high school for the first time, to that fateful day in |une when you stride across the stage, hand outstretched, to receive your diploma; a gradual change occurs. A kind of blossoming. New experiences, new people, new responsibilities, they are all a part of this change. Proms, sports, concerts, plays, and classes, they all help bring about the person you are and who you can be. Everyday first, second, and third periods Mr. Morgan and the students work furiously on music for the annual Christmas and Spring choral concerts. The choruses perform music styles ranging from classical to modern pop music. This past year the senior chorus performed pieces by Scarlatti and )ohn Denver among other selections. In 1982 aside from regular concerts the chorus sang at Valley Presbyterian Church for Community Day, the high school National Honor Society induction, and a benefit for the Leukemia Society in memory of Tracey Wilson. Two senior boys, Pete Cepulis and )oe Schulz, attended District Chorus at Plum Boro High School. Pete attended Regional Chorus at West Middlesex High School. The senior chorus presented Mr. Morgan with a ring at the Spring concert as a token of their appreciation for all he has done Tor their musical skills and awareness. 81 Journalism PERIOD 3 CLASS Sitting Kim Nesbit, Carolyn Wolfe, Lisa Nicklash, Lisa Argenta, Jackie Jeglinski. Her friendship, thoughtfulness and love remain an inspiration to us all. (Tracey Wilson died of leukemia in 1974.) She would have graduated with the W.A class of 1982. For the past five years, her parents, Kay and Bob Wilson, have sponsored the Wilson Memorial Leukemia Benefit to raise money for the Leukemia Society in an effort to combat this dreadful disease. The 1982 senior chorus, under the direction of Mr. Stewart Morgan sang at the 1982 benefit held April 15. The chorus contributed $130.00 to the benefit in Tracey's memory. Tracey's presence is sorely missed and our thoughts and prayers were with her on commencement day. 129 Brian Albrecht — Basketball 3; Intramurals 3.
