General Business, Typewriting I Besides obtaining a sound background in the fundamentals such as English and social studies, a student must, in order to become a well-rounded individual, have some knowledge in other fields. The Commercial Department affords preparation for those who will enter the business world, and homemaking skills are procured and practiced in the Home Economics Department. Courses in shop and in mechanical drawing are available for interested boys. Physical fitness is maintained through activity in gymnastics. The Music and Art Departments develop skills, as well as the cultural interests of students participating in their activities. Thus, each student is given the opportunity to receive a thorough, yet varied, education. STELLA W. SHANE SALLY E.
