Ruth Kuhbander Mlss Meyer Thlrd Row Marllyn Fahrenholz Kathren Hagler Marv Denlun er Jean Shafer The Home Economucs classes are duvuded unto four sectuons The seventh and eughth grades have class separately three peruods ea h week The seventh grade studued the basuc fund amentals of sewung and applued these to the makung of pun cushuons towels and aprons Thus class also learned to prepare beverages cereals and fruuts and planned and prepared and planned prepared and served a breakfast and luncheon Sewung projects were stuffed anumals and other Chrustmas gufts blouses dresses and skurts The Freshman and Sophomore classes are combuned and meet for a double peruod each day Thus class has studued unuts on vegetables bakung meats etuquette good groomung table settung and the preparatuon and plannung of meals Two or more sewung projects were completed by each gurl Among the chosen projects were wool and cotton dresses formals and skurts Gufts of stuffed anumals aprons felt puns and belts were made at Chrustmas The Senuor class meets for a double peruod each day Thus class completed unuts on mar ketung meal plannung and preparatuon bakung nutrutuon and renovatuon of hats dresses and suuts Among the sewung projects completed were a coat a formal wool and cotton dresses One of the gurls completed the project of makung drapes and a bedspread for her room The Senuors Freshman and Sophomores were permutted to take shoppung tours to pur chase materuals for theur sewung projects The gurls found the electruc stove and refrugerator acquured thus year very useful l , ..-.V M ' . ,.
