The first dormitory was started 14 years ago in 1933. Mr. l.. Wiiig has acted as dean and manager for all but the first two years. Mrs. O. Alverson served as dean of girls for 12 years, after which she was succeeded by Mrs. Carrie Kearton, the present dean. The main event of the year is the Christmas party which is preceded by a dinner given in honor of the school board members and their wives. A feature added this year was that pop and ice cream was available at all times. The school board members, their wives, and the faculty members were guests.
