'Wu' ' J Eva Wlk The class of 1956 feels pr1v1leged to have had the fxrst exchange stu dent to Wesleyvllle I-hgh School 1n the1r class M1ss Eva Margamta W1k was the wonderful person sent to us Eva came from a famlly of f1ve 1n Gotebrog Vastergotland Sweden Her father Er1k Oss1an W1k IS a drugg1st Eva s mother was formerly a forelgn correspondent She also has two brothers lngomar age 15 years and Olle age ll years many t1mes w1th her beaut1ful vo1ce s1ng1ng both ln Swed1sh and Enghsh Bes1des speakmg these languages fluently Eva also spoke Damsh French and German Among the many act1v1t1es our frlend enjoyed were sa1l1ng swxmrrung hlkmg playmg the p1ano act1ng ln our Sen1or Play and nat urally s1ng1ng She also llked spaghett1 and corn on the cob for food favorltes Eva has her heart set on be1ng a profess1onal slnger or actress but sa1d 1f she d1dn't make the grade she would just as soon teach languages ln any of these f1elds she would make the grade w1th us lt IS w1th great prlde that we pay tr1bute to Eva W1k our guest fellow student and co worker and frlend We smcerely hope Eva enjoyed be1ng here as much as we enjoyed hav1ng her w1th us IU our Sen1or year .5 3 l 1 .
