Where else can one surmise about existentialism for one hour, turn to the party system for the next, spend a few harried hours over the typewriter, and finally end the day with a slow can of beer or a brief letter home?

14 Recording the minutia, the triviatum, is part of our task. But we must avoid belaboring the obvious. Some things are important and other things are not; issues can be made and they can be avoided; and still there are always those issues which are ever present. Windmills have lasted for centuries, once as useful machines, now as museum pieces. But Don Quixote still rides. If there is truth in the absurd, then this is absurd enough to share in the truth.
