EAN ELDRIDGE maintains the closest liaison with the students among the Administration memhers. In the capacity of Director of Admissions, he is responsible for the calibre of the men admitted to Wesleyan. A graduate of the Class of 1931, he has, in a sense. never left Wesleyan, and is thoroughly eonversant with student problems. One of his most important duties is acclimat- ing the incoming freshmen to college life. DEANS EAN SPAETH is a Harvard man who came to Wesleyan hy wat of Brown. He is chairman of the Curric- ulum Committee and in that capacity has lilanagcd continuously to enlarge and enrich the courses offered at Wres- leyan. At present, he is chairman of the classics department, a member of the Advisory and Administration Commit- tees, and occupies a seat on the College Entrance Examination Board.
